About Charles Zubrod

My career originally started in accounting and finance.  After graduating from Seattle University, I passed the CPA exam in 1992. I was recruited to what was then called a “Big Six” public accounting firm, doing SEC auditing.  I then went on to positions as a Financial Analyst, Controller and Budget Manager for companies in a range of fields. I eventually carved out a career in the private sector as a quasi-consultant restructuring financial reporting structures and budgets.

I came to Medicare due to my own family’s experience. My mom got sick very quickly and unexpectedly. Through the process of getting her help, I learned how complicated and confusing Medicaid and Medicare can be. I eventually learned more about Medicare and Medicaid than I ever imagined I would. My experience led me to want to share my knowledge with others and my current career.

I have been licensed since 2011, and I specialize in Medicare education.  I endeavor to combine my professional and personal experience to provide a “consultant” approach to the people I meet. My passion is getting to know individuals; their unique situation, their concerns, and their needs and matching these with the Medicare plan exactly right for them.
